What is Ecogold?

Ecogold is an environmentally focused loyalty program that supports Kiwi Energy in New York and is sent to every new and existing Kiwi Energy customer. Ecogold is a complimentary benefit for being a Kiwi Energy customer.

How does my Ecogold Rewards work?

As one of the program benefits you will receive Ecogold Rewards or Cash Back on your Kiwi Energy supply costs. Ecogold Rewards are issued once you accumulate $25 and $50 thereafter and are to be redeemed online via the customer log in on this website. Cash Back is mailed after 12 consecutive months of Kiwi Energy supply costs.

How do I register?

Select ‘Not Registered?’ on the Ecogold homepage and follow the prompts. We do need to capture certain details like your phone number, email and password, this process is to ensure your personal details are secure.

How do I know when I have an Ecogold Reward due?

The accumulation of the Ecogold Rewards are sent to you via monthly text messages. When you are eligible for your next Ecogold Reward you will be sent an email prompting you to redeem it via the log in area of the Ecogold website. This process is for your security.

I was placed on the incorrect type, can I change this?

Yes! Simply log in on any page of this site, go to ‘My Profile’ and change your reward type. Alternatively you can call our customer service team at 1-877-208-7636 and they will be able to take care of this for you.

Can I opt-out of monthly text messages?

You can opt-out of receiving text messages, simply log in to the Ecogold website, click the ‘My Profile’ tab and select that you no longer wish to receive text communication. Please keep in mind that this will mean you will not receive updates of your accumulated rewards and notifications when your next reward is due.

Can I opt out of receiving emails?

You can opt out of receiving emails, however this does limit your reward options. Some of the leading brand gift cards are only dispatched as e-cards, there are a few gift cards including the movie tickets and Cash Back that are mailed out to you.  Simply log in to the Ecogold website, click the ‘My Profile’ tab and select that you no longer wish to receive emails.

How do I purchase additional gift card and movie tickets?

Once you have registered your Ecogold Card you can log in to the site and access many of the exclusive Member discounts and benefits.

Does my card expire?

Your card has no expiry, as long as you are a Kiwi Energy Ecogold customer your card will be valid and active.

Why have I not been receiving my Ecogold text message updates?

We may have the incorrect email address for you. Simply log in to this site using your Ecogold customer number and password, click the ‘My Profile’ tab and update the email address we have for you. Still having issues? Contact our friendly customer service team on 1-877-208-7636.

How do I change from Kiwi Clean to Kiwi Green?

Simply call 1-877-208-7636 and our customer service team can re-contract you on Kiwi Green.

Can I still use my card if I leave Kiwi Energy?

Ecogold is a loyalty benefit for new and current Kiwi Energy customers. Your Ecogold account will be deactivated if you leave Kiwi Energy but can be reactivated if you choose to switch back to Kiwi Energy.

Will I still get my Ecogold Rewards or Cash Back if I leave Kiwi Energy?

If you choose to leave Kiwi Energy, you will forfeit any accumulated rewards that has not already been issued, as well as all rights to use the card in person or online. The card and membership account will be deactivated.
